​The Frick Collection Restoration

In 2003 I had the distinct pleasure of being hired by this distinguished house museum on the same day as their new Executive Director, Anne Poulet. The museum had never had an employee with my skill set, so a new position and title was defined: “Interior Renovator” – and that is what I set about for the next 3 years full-time and 3 additional years on a part-time basis, tackling the most neglected areas such as the West Gallery ceiling to the basement's bowling alley, to executing the curators' wishes for very exacting finishes for customized pedestals.
